DC Studios is reportedly developing a television series centered on the character Mr. Terrific, with a pilot script written by Allan Heinberg. The character made his live‑action debut in the film Superman, played by Edi Gathegi. While details are currently limited, the series appears to be in early development and Gathegi may return to the role. Heinberg, who served as showrunner for Netflix's The Sandman and has written for Wonder Woman, The O.C., and Grey's Anatomy, is attached to the project. The DC Universe has experienced setbacks after the mixed reception and box‑office performance of Supergirl, which led to projections of substantial financial loss. Upcoming DC releases include a Green Lantern series set for an August premiere, the film Clayface scheduled for October, and a Superman sequel planned for July. No release date or plot information has been confirmed for the Mr. Terrific series. The project's status and timeline remain undisclosed.
