According to Birdfy, the company is offering up to 40 percent off its solar‑powered smart bird feeder with camera during a midyear sale, reducing the Netvue Birdfy Feeder price to $149.99. The device, which has a list price of $259.99, includes a 1.5‑liter seed container, a solar panel and three months of free cloud video storage.
The feeder features a wide‑angle 1080p camera with color night vision and sends motion alerts to the Birdfy app, where users can view live video or recorded clips. Its AI can identify more than 6,000 bird species and also recognizes squirrels and other animals, eliminating the need for a subscription. The IP65‑rated unit holds enough seed for extended periods and the solar panel helps maintain battery charge when exposed to adequate sunlight.
Video footage can be stored locally on the device or in the cloud, with the provider offering three months of complimentary cloud storage. The promotion is expected to conclude later this year, and the reduced price marks one of the lowest recorded values for the product.
