Kadokawa's Comic Newtype announced on July 16 that manga artist Ka Sakana will launch a manga adaptation of the novel Ghost Mikawa's Mercenary Sisters on Tuesday.

The novel was first serialized on the Kakuyomu website in June 2025 and published by Kadokawa with illustrations by kappe in July 2025.

The story follows 17‑year‑old rookie mercenary Rinko Isumi, who joins a private military company and is paired with veteran mercenary Nagisa Mizusaki as they navigate a foreign conflict zone and learn survival skills such as shooting and ration preparation.

The manga’s first volume will be released on Tuesday, and the series is expected to conclude with its 12th volume in early fall, continuing the franchise that includes additional novels, a separate manga adaptation, and a television anime that premiered in October 2025.
