NASA announced on Thursday that its NASA+ streaming service is now available through Fire TV Channels. Fire TV customers can access the programming by issuing voice commands to Alexa+ on compatible devices. The service remains free and ad‑free via the NASA app and the agency’s website. Future programming may include science mission launches, a test flight for lunar docking with crewed landing systems, robotic lunar deliveries, and the first crewed Artemis mission to the Moon. Rebecca Sirmons, general manager of NASA+ at NASA Headquarters in Washington, said the National Aeronautics and Space Act of 1958 obligates the agency to share its space exploration story with the broadest possible audience, and streaming partners help achieve that goal. She noted that Artemis II captured global attention and that NASA will continue to provide coverage of mission and educational content as it moves toward building a Moon base. The distribution partnership supports NASA’s effort to make mission and educational content available on multiple platforms. For additional information, NASA directs viewers to its website.
