Apple released the fourth public betas of iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, and tvOS 27 on Monday, August 17, 2026. The updates are available to anyone with a compatible iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV who enrolls in the public beta program through Apple's website and then selects Software Update in Settings > General.

MacOS Golden Gate includes new default wallpapers, while iOS 27 adds a Shortcuts splash screen and a redesigned Game Center icon. tvOS 27 features a redesigned Podcasts app and other minor interface changes. Apple indicated the beta testing period is expected to conclude before the official fall releases.

The fourth public beta follows the third public beta released a week earlier and the sixth developer beta issued earlier the same day.
