From Software announced that the character Zork will be available in the network test for The Duskbloods. Zork appears in a pear‑shaped diving suit and wields a segment of undersea cable as a weapon. He can howl, fire a back‑mounted cannon and launch his body at enemies. The game’s multiplayer mode is intended to feel like a chaotic festival with diverse characters. In an interview, Hidetaka Miyazaki described Zork as a wild card that contrasts with traditional Victorian Gothic figures. He said the character’s mask includes a beak that extends like a straw to drink blood, a design he linked to Ultraman. Miyazaki also noted that Zork is one of his favorite characters to play in the test version.
