Google announced that its Antigravity AI coding assistant will be integrated with enterprise controls within Gemini Enterprise subscriptions. The integration gives administrators license management, billing, security and audit features.

Antigravity, which originated from DeepMind, is available through a desktop app, command‑line interface, SDK and IDE. After its May announcement, customers asked for tighter security and broader tool integration.

The service will now be offered as an extension for Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs and Zed. Administrators can manage tool licenses, invoices and security settings through Gemini Enterprise's billing and cost‑management tools, which support project‑level budget caps and token pooling to reduce unused consumption. They can also view token usage, API calls and other developer activity, enable overages and set broader visibility.

Access controls let administrators restrict file system access to the agent's working folders, require confirmation before terminal commands, sandbox execution, limit web browsing to specific sites, and enforce data privacy via audit logging. Google noted that it is working to keep pace with AI rivals, citing the delayed release of Gemini 3.5 Pro despite newer 3.6 Flash and 3.7 Flash versions, and recent leadership changes at DeepMind.
