LandSpace reported that the first stage of its ZhuQue-3 reusable launch vehicle successfully touched down at a site in Minqin County, Gansu Province, on August 19, 2026, after launching the Honghu 03 satellite into low Earth orbit. The launch was the second flight of the two‑stage ZQ‑3 vehicle; a previous attempt in December resulted in a failed booster recovery after an explosion on the pad. China had previously recovered a reusable booster from a Long March 10B rocket at sea in July, using a net‑capture system on a ship.
