Microsoft announced price increases for its Xbox Series consoles in the European Union and the United Kingdom in June, with the 1TB Xbox Series X with a disc drive rising to £669.99 or €799.99.
The increases amount to up to €200 or £170 depending on the model.
This is the third round of price changes since May 2025, after an earlier increase was announced for the United States.
The 1TB Xbox Series X with a disc drive rises from £499.99 or €599.99 to £669.99 or €799.99, a more than 30 percent increase.
The 512GB Xbox Series S rises from £299.99 or €349.99 to £429.99 or €499.99, a more than 43 percent increase.
Microsoft has discontinued the 2TB model.
The updated prices are: the 512GB Xbox Series S moves from €349.99 or £299.99 to €499.99 or £429.99; the 1TB Xbox Series S moves from €399.99 or £349.99 to €599.99 or £519.99; the 1TB Xbox Series X Digital moves from €549.99 or £449.99 to €749.99 or £619.99; and the 1TB Xbox Series X Disc moves from €599.99 or £499.99 to €799.99 or £669.99.
The price changes may influence consumer demand as the console competes with Sony's PlayStation, and Microsoft has not provided a timeline for future pricing decisions.
