An author reported missing Vatra's Seal, an ability in Mortal Shell 2, after completing the prologue. The seal is obtained by looting Haros' corpse following the Tar Golem encounter and can be used with any shell equipped. It grants damage immunity, freezes the character mid‑animation, and allows a perfect parry that deals posture damage. The author discovered the seal was absent after several hours of play and confirmed that it cannot be retrieved once the prologue area is left. As an alternative, the author used the Untarnished Seal, which provides a guard that blocks damage until the posture meter breaks and enables a perfect parry, but does not grant damage immunity. Cold Symmetry released a patch that reduces boss difficulty and increases gold rewards, though some players have reported issues with bear traps. The author advises new players to loot Haros' corpse to secure the seal, noting its availability throughout the game.
