Creator Sooncha withdrew the copyright for the manga 'Yang Can't Live Alone' from Square Enix after ending its run on Manga Up! on August 13. The creator will transfer the series to another publisher for a revised physical and digital release. Square Enix will stop publishing physical copies in Japan and end digital distribution on August 31 at 11:59 p.m. JST. Translated versions will remain available until their respective agreements expire. The third compiled volume shipped on August 6, and the creator asked pre‑order customers to cancel if uncomfortable. A Square Enix spokesperson said the company is reviewing the situation with all relevant parties and will provide an update when possible. Further details about the new publisher and revised edition will be released later.
