Sophie Adenot, an astronaut with the European Space Agency, will conduct her third spacewalk on the International Space Station on Tuesday, 1 September, as part of U.S. Spacewalk 99. NASA will begin live coverage at 13:00 CEST, with the spacewalk expected to start around 14:30 CEST and last approximately 6.5 hours. Together with NASA astronaut Jessica Meir, Adenot will replace a retroreflector on the Harmony module to support spacecraft navigation during rendezvous and docking operations. She will also install jumper cables for the data-relay system, prepare the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer's radiator for future maintenance, and replace a high-definition camera on the station's truss. The activities are part of routine maintenance and upgrades aimed at preserving the station's operational capabilities. The spacewalk will be monitored by ground teams and will provide data for future station upgrades.
