Fans have identified a real‑world building in Miami that they say resembles the apartment shown for characters Jason and Lucia in the Grand Theft Auto VI trailer. Instagram user prettyboycuh used Google Maps to locate a teal building that appeared in the extended gameplay footage. By adjusting the map’s date to April 2013, the building matched the in‑game location, including its fence, color and surrounding structures. The building, known as the Belmar Condo, was repainted from salmon to gray in 2017 and remained visible on mapping services until 2024, when it was demolished after being sold for $12 million in 2022, according to the South Florida Business Journal. The condo was built in 1973 and had been listed on Zillow with interior details that correspond to scenes in the game, such as the kitchen and living area. Rockstar Games has not confirmed the building’s role as the inspiration for the Vice City apartment. Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
