Meta introduced a desktop version of its Muse AI assistant for macOS users on September 17, 2026. The application expands the capabilities of the AI agent that previously operated on iOS, Android, and web platforms. According to CEO Mark Zuckerberg, the Mac app enables users to manage files, complete forms, and retrieve data from integrated services such as Messages, Calendar, and Notes. The announcement was made through Meta's official channels and reported by technology journalist Jay Peters. The release marks the latest expansion of Muse's availability since its initial launch earlier in the month.
