Activision announced that the iconic Call of Duty map Shipment will reappear in the upcoming Modern Warfare 4. The confirmation came after the map surfaced in the PC trailer released for the game, prompting the official Call of Duty account to post a dedicated announcement on social media.

Shipment first debuted in the original 2007 Modern Warfare 4 and is known for its compact layout of shipping containers that force players into tight, fast-paced encounters. Its small footprint often leads to quick eliminations at spawn points, creating a chaotic experience that has divided the community over the years.

The map has a long history of reappearances, having been featured in later entries such as Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Mobile. Its inclusion in Modern Warfare 4 is part of a broader set of updates the publisher has highlighted, which also includes adjustments to double XP token mechanics, removal of the mandatory restart notice for patches, and a new mode inspired by Counter-Strike design principles.

Activision has not specified whether Shipment will be one of the twelve 6v6 launch maps or released later as part of a post‑launch update. The game is scheduled to launch on October 23 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, the upcoming Switch 2, and PC. This release marks the first Call of Duty title on a Nintendo platform since 2013’s Call of Duty: Ghosts and the first since Ghosts to skip the previous generation consoles.
