Universal Studios Japan announced on Wednesday that it will partner with the Sailor Moon franchise for its 2027 Universal Cool Japan campaign, marking the first official collaboration between the park and the series for that year. The Universal Cool Japan initiative features temporary attractions and promotions centered on anime, manga, and video game properties. The Sailor Moon partnership will introduce a new "Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon x Story Ride" experience, with further details to be released at a later date. The collaboration will also include a revised version of the "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon the Miracle: Moon Place Chapter Deluxe" short, originally shown during the 2019 Universal Cool Japan event and later screened at Universal Studios Hollywood in California between April 25 and May 16. In addition, the campaign will feature food items and merchandise inspired by the franchise. This is not the first time Sailor Moon has been featured at Universal Studios Japan, having previously partnered with the park in 2018, 2019, and 2022. Sources: Universal Studios Japan, Comic Natalie
