A 2Crsi Edge surveillance camera now houses an Intel Arrow Lake system-on-chip, enabling local AI processing and integrated graphics capabilities. The Vision Guard VG-15MV-66 model features an Intel Core Ultra 5 225H processor, configured with 14 cores — four performance and eight efficient — and a maximum boost speed of 4.9 GHz. This processor supports edge computing functions, allowing the device to analyze video feeds and run neural networks directly on the unit. An optional Axelera Metis AI accelerator can provide up to 214 TOPS of processing power for tasks such as object detection and classification. The camera also includes Intel Arc 130T integrated graphics, designed to handle light video processing and graphics workloads. While the manufacturer emphasizes its use for security applications such as streetlight or utility pole installations, the hardware specifications suggest theoretical compatibility with low-demand games or multimedia tasks. The system is intended to operate independently, reducing reliance on centralized servers by processing data locally. No official claims have been made about gaming functionality, and the device remains classified as a surveillance solution.
