A physical confrontation in the queue for Avatar Flight of Passage at Disney World's Animal Kingdom led to a lawsuit filed by personal injury firm Morgan & Morgan on behalf of a minor. According to court records, Mark Edwards filed the complaint in Orange Circuit Court after his family experienced the August incident while visiting the Orlando resort. The lawsuit alleges that Disney failed to maintain adequate supervision and crowd control in the popular queue area, allowing an unmonitored group to breach barriers and assault the plaintiff and her relatives. John Morgan, founder of the firm, and attorney Christopher Ryan stated that the family encountered the altercation while waiting for the simulated flying attraction, describing how staff did not intervene despite visible escalation. Disney World has not publicly addressed the claims. The complaint specifically cites insufficient employee presence in the queue and inadequate security protocols as contributing factors to the injuries sustained. This case adds to a series of incidents involving guest misconduct at Disney parks that have occasionally drawn media attention, though the company has not confirmed any internal review of queue management practices related to this matter.
