Bandai Namco has refined the anticipated release timeline for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, narrowing the previously broad 2027 window to the latter half of the year. The publisher had initially projected the game for sometime in 2027 but now specifies it will launch between July and December 2027.
Producer Masayuki Hirano outlined the adjustment in a public statement, noting that extended development time will allow the team to incorporate player feedback gathered over recent months. "We have listened to the community and refined our plans accordingly," Hirano said. "Our goal is to deliver a launch experience and post-launch support that meet the series' ambitions."
The update follows a series of incremental reveals about gameplay features, including expanded battle customization options and new PvE mission structures. Bandai Namco emphasized that Xenoverse 3 will incorporate multiplayer functionality from launch, marking a shift from the series' traditionally single-player focus.
IGN obtained early access to the title in June, publishing preview impressions that highlighted the game's refined combat mechanics and expanded character customization systems. The publication noted that the game's development appears to be progressing steadily toward the announced timeframe.
Bandai Namco has not indicated any changes to its post-launch support plans, though Hirano suggested further updates will be shared only when substantive new information becomes available.
