Ink Pop, the manga imprint of Penguin Random House that targets kids and teens, announced at Anime Expo on July 2 that it will release the English version of noho's My Neighbor Yokai manga in spring 2027 as a paperback and a jacketed hardcover.

The series, which began as a Twitter serial in 2018 and later continued on the Mato Grosso website, follows a town where humans and yokai coexist. The story follows Buchio, a cat that develops a second tail and becomes a spirit, prompting him to learn about the yokai around him.

The manga has four main volumes and two spinoff volumes; the most recent spinoff volume shipped on April 17, 2026. An anime adaptation debuted in April 2024 and has been streamed worldwide by Crunchyroll since its Japanese broadcast.

The deal adds the title to Ink Pop's catalog and represents its first major manga release for the English market.
