Millie Bobby Brown said she auditioned for the role of X‑23 in Logan when she was 11 or 12, about ten years ago, and that she screen‑tested with Hugh Jackman.

She said she felt broken when she did not get the part and believed another actor was more suitable.

The role was awarded to Dafne Keen, whose audition was later released online, showing her improvisation and partial use of Spanish.

Keen has reprised the character in Deadpool and Wolverine.

Brown made the remarks in a promotional video for Enola Holmes 3 published by Entertainment Weekly.
