The official website for Unmei no Makimodo Shi – Fate Rewinder announced the anime’s cast and April 2027 debut on TV Asahi’s ImAnimation programming block, after releasing a teaser trailer and visual on Saturday. Shō Komura will voice Chrono, Kōki Uchiyama will voice Shirai, Kōhei Amasaki will voice Akaba, and Reina Ueda will voice Lemon, according to the website. Rie Matsumoto, known for directing Blood Blockade Battlefront and Heartcatch Precure!, will direct the series at Bones Film. Kimiko Ueno will serve as series composition, and Satoshi Murai will compose the music, with production credited to Story Inc. The manga, which centers on Chrono, a boy with a time‑rewinding eye who works for a special time‑police unit, began serialization in Shogakukan’s Coro Coro Comics in January 2022 and was nominated for the 69th Shogakukan Manga Awards in 2023. Its 12th compiled volume was released on April 28, and Yen Press has licensed the series for an October print release. The story also inspired a net anime adaptation that premiered on YouTube in spring 2022. The teaser trailer and visual were posted on the series’ website and its X/Twitter account, and Crunchyroll announced it will stream the anime. Anime News Network reported the information. The anime is slated to premiere in April 2027, with streaming to follow.
