After examining evidence, the commission concluded that Kramnik’s conduct breached provisions on dignity, respect, bullying, psychological abuse, and his duty as a role model, as well as his failure to cooperate with the Fair Play Commission’s investigation. Kramnik received a two‑year worldwide ban from FIDE competitions and official duties, with the final twelve months suspended provided he completes a three‑year probation period without further violations.
