Marvel Rivals Releases Captain America Swimsuit Skin

NetEase Games released a Captain America swimsuit skin called "Seaside Sentinel" in Marvel Rivals on July 1, 2026 as part of a 4th of July promotion.

The game features a roster of Marvel characters and has introduced several swimsuit-themed cosmetics for heroes such as Loki and White Fox, following previous releases for Daredevil and Black Widow.

The skin includes an inflatable ducky shield and a mankini with jiggle physics and is available for purchase through the Marvel Rivals store.

An official description from Marvel Rivals states that the beach crew voted Captain America to man the grill, though his grilling skills were described as less calculated than his shield throws.

Fans on Reddit and X/Twitter expressed skepticism, with some suggesting the visuals resembled a fan-made mod, while others commented on the design.

IGN confirmed that the skin and its contents are official and purchasable.

The release expands the game's cosmetic offerings and the game remains available on PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
