Overgeared TV anime, an adaptation of the South Korean webtoon by REDICE STUDIO, released its first promotional video and announced new cast members on Saturday, ahead of its October debut. The anime will be produced by J.C. Staff and EGG FIRM, directed by Ayako Kōno, with Kenta Ihara serving as series scriptwriter and character designer, Yoshikazu Iwanami as sound director, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa as composer. Pony Canyon is credited for music production, and Crunchyroll will stream the series. The new cast members include Saya Fukuzumi as Euphemina and Shuntaro Takayama as Huroi, in addition to the previously announced Tatsumaru Tachibana as Grid and Asami Seto as Yura. The series is based on a web novel by Park Saenal, with the webtoon illustrated by Dong‑Wook Lee and written by Team Argo. The 10th volume of the webtoon was released on May 19, and the series is available digitally on Tapas. Yen Press publishes the webtoon in English under its Ize Press label. The anime is scheduled to premiere in October in Japan.
