Philips has announced the M4 gaming monitor lineup, consisting of the 27M4N3500PT and 27M4N5500PT, which feature a triple‑mode capability allowing instant switching among three resolution and refresh‑rate configurations.

The displays use a Fast IPS panel and support three native settings: QHD at 275 Hz, FullHD at 360 Hz, and HD at 540 Hz. Both models include Low Blue Light and Flicker‑Free eye‑protection technologies, a 25 % haze anti‑glare coating, and a peak brightness of 350 nits. Connectivity options comprise HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4.

Both models provide integrated AI functions such as Stark Shadow Boost, Smart Crosshair, Smart Sniper, and Smart MBR Sync. The premium 27M4N5500PT model adds a SmartErgoBase stand that offers height, tilt, swivel adjustments and a 90‑degree vertical pivot, along with a geometric cut base and an AI‑driven lighting system.

Philips noted that the ability to toggle between high‑fidelity and high‑speed settings without changing operating system configurations can benefit gamers who alternate between demanding titles and fast‑paced shooters; the company has not yet disclosed pricing or release dates.
