Mortal Shell II will launch on August 10, 2026.

The original Mortal Shell, released in 2020 by Cold Symmetry, sold more than one million copies and received an enhanced edition.

The sequel adds a character shell mechanic that reshapes abilities and promises unrestricted combat, deeper weapon customization, and open exploration. It expands upgrade options beyond the first game.

The release arrives amid a crowded 2026 schedule and will be tested by players seeking alternatives to established Souls-like titles.
