Razer announced the Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed wireless gaming earbuds for Xbox and PlayStation, adding a multi‑platform audio solution that combines 2.4GHz HyperSpeed wireless and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.

The earbuds use a HyperSpeed Case that functions as both a 2.4GHz receiver and a portable charger, and Razer’s SmartSwitch Dual Wireless technology lets users toggle between the 2.4GHz and Bluetooth connections without interrupting gameplay. The manufacturer reports up to 10 hours of playback per charge, with the case providing an additional 25 hours for a total of 35 hours.

Physical features include touch controls and an IPX4 water‑resistance rating. Spatial audio support is platform specific: Windows Sonic on Xbox, 3D Audio on PlayStation, and THX Spatial Audio on PC. The Xbox version is listed at roughly €100, while the PlayStation version is priced at about £100 or €110.

KitGuru said the dedicated console variants with dual‑wireless switching provide a choice for gamers who use multiple devices.
