Rolling Stones launch a limited-time game event in Roblox's The Block virtual venue from July 10 to July 17, featuring classic hits and songs from the Foreign Tongues album released on July 10.

The game asks players to work together to defeat a character called The Man, who is described as traveling through time to destroy rock and roll. Players progress through decades representing the band's eras, locate and shatter crystals that power a tongue-and-lips mechanism, and unlock subsequent periods.

The event follows earlier music collaborations on Roblox, including appearances by Lil Nas X and Twenty One Pilots. The partnership occurs as Roblox Corp. sees its share price decline about 30% this year amid ongoing child safety concerns and related lawsuits.

The description stated that players should 'stop The Man and bring back The Rolling Stones' for the biggest music event ever. The event is scheduled to end on July 17, after which the virtual experience will be discontinued.
