Robinhood is in talks with Crypto.com to expand its prediction markets offering by adding yes-or-no event contracts supplied by the exchange, according to a Wall Street Journal report.
The company launched its prediction markets platform in March 2025 after securing approval from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission through Kalshi and later using ForecastEx and Rotella.
Bernstein analysts raised Robinhood’s price target to $160 per share in April, forecasting $1.7 billion in prediction market revenue by 2028 and potential total volumes of $1 trillion by 2030. The firm noted that the platforms face ongoing legal challenges, with the CFTC claiming exclusive jurisdiction over the contracts while several state gaming authorities have filed lawsuits to block or restrict the activity.
As of now, no agreement has been announced and the timeline for the expansion remains undetermined.
