AppleCare One, a bundled AppleCare+ service that covers multiple Apple devices for a single monthly fee, launches in the United Kingdom on July 27, 2026, and AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss coverage expands from iPhone to iPad and Apple Watch.
Standard AppleCare+ provides accidental damage protection and device failure coverage, while the Theft and Loss option previously applied only to iPhone. AppleCare One bundles these services for three or more products.
The plan costs £16.99 per month for three devices and adds £4.99 per month for each additional device. It is available immediately to consumers who enroll through their device or apple.com. Eligible devices must be no more than four years old, with a one‑year limit for headphones, and must be registered in an Apple ID account. AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss allows unlimited accidental damage claims but restricts theft and loss claims to two per year; AppleCare One permits up to three total claims annually across all devices. Excess fees for filing claims are £109 for an iPhone, £99 for an iPad, £89 for an Apple Watch, £49 for a MacBook Neo screen or enclosure and £149 for other damage, while other Mac models carry a £99 fee for screen or enclosure and £299 for other repairs. Customers with existing AppleCare+ plans can transition to AppleCare One, and any added device automatically ends its separate AppleCare+ coverage with a refund of unused portions. Trade‑in upgrades transfer coverage between devices without requiring new enrollment. Sign‑up generally occurs on the device or via apple.com, with device condition verification via diagnostic tools and photos possible from home; this step is waived for recently purchased devices or those already covered by AppleCare+.
The expansion aims to simplify protection for multi‑device owners and may increase adoption of bundled services, though Apple has not indicated a timeline for broader rollout beyond the UK.
