Footage from the Avengers: Doomsday trailer was screened in Hall H at San Diego Comic‑Con 2026. The clip featured lines from Sue Storm describing Victor von Doom as previously kind and caring, and a statement from Doom saying that those who have stolen lives must return them. The footage suggests a narrative link between Doctor Doom and Tony Stark, noting that both characters are portrayed by the same actor. It also references a storyline in which the Avengers' time‑travel efforts in Endgame may have caused multiversal disturbances that could affect Doom's family. A deleted scene included an appearance by a teenage version of Tony Stark's daughter, Morgan, in which Tony expressed fear that his actions could erase her existence. The panel sparked speculation among attendees about Doom's motives and parallels with Stark's concerns, but no official details about the film's plot have been released. The panel also included announcements about other Marvel projects, casting updates, and the presence of Ryan Gosling and other actors.
