Amazon Games announced that Tomb Raider: Catalyst will be released in 2028, moving the title from its earlier 2027 target.

The game follows the upcoming remake of the original Tomb Raider, titled Legacy of Atlantis, scheduled for February 12, 2027. The two titles represent the next entries in the franchise after the 2013 reboot series.

In an interview with The Game Business, Amazon Games head Jeffrey Gattis said the company plans to launch the remake in early 2027 and the new title in 2028. He noted that spacing the releases would avoid a crowded calendar and allow more development time.

Amazon has reduced its game development and publishing staff over the past year but continues to support the Tomb Raider franchise. The upcoming titles will be available on consoles and PC, with no announced plans for cloud‑only distribution.

No additional release date or production milestones have been disclosed.
