Capcom reported strong sales in the first half of 2026, with Resident Evil Requiem and the new title Pragmata leading quarterly figures.
Resident Evil Requiem, the ninth installment of the long-running series, has sold more than one million copies in the most recent quarter, bringing its cumulative sales to over eight million since its February launch. The remakes of Resident Evil 2, 3, and 4 sold more units during the same period, helping the franchise reach a total of 213 million units sold across its history.
Pragmata, released in April, has surpassed two and a half million copies sold and was the top‑selling title in Capcom's portfolio for the quarter. Devil May Cry 5 sold nearly 1.3 million units over the past three months, which coincided with the release of the second season of the Netflix series and the game's availability on the Nintendo Switch 2. Monster Hunter World continued to sell, with just under 800,000 units in the quarter, while figures for Monster Hunter Wilds were not reported.
Capcom plans to release Onimusha: Way of the Sword on September 4 and a remake of Resident Evil Veronica, which will reinterpret the original Dreamcast game.
