MSI announced the MAG View Xpander 12, a 12.3‑inch IPS display intended for internal hardware monitoring or as a secondary desktop display. The device offers a 1920×720 resolution. It is offered in black and white finishes and can be used in landscape or portrait orientation. Power and video are delivered through a single USB connection, using either a Type‑C to Type‑A cable or an internal USB header cable. The package includes mounting options such as a 360 mm radiator bracket, an L‑shaped bracket for a 120 mm fan, or desk placement. MSI Center software allows the panel to display system metrics, clock faces, photo slideshows and custom notifications. It can function as a standard secondary Windows display for chat, streaming or reference applications. The unit is compatible with select Pano, Velox 300 and Maestro series cases. MSI said the product is positioned to compete with the Xeneon Edge. No price or release date has been announced.
