Take-Two Interactive said GTA 6 will launch on November 19 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S without an early access option. The company's CEO, Strauss Zelnick, explained during the quarterly earnings call that pricing decisions are made by Rockstar Games. Zelnick said the standard $80 and ultimate $100 editions are the only preorder options and that the studio aims to provide value to consumers. He added that other pricing models were possible but the focus remains on delivering more value than the price. Preorders are high but can be cancelled before the launch date. The company forecasts a 20% revenue increase for the current fiscal year driven by GTA 6. Early access is used by other publishers such as Microsoft for Forza Horizon 6 and the special edition of Gears of War: E-Day but not for GTA 6. An extended preview of the game will be shown on Netflix on August 27 for subscribers.
