Square Enix will debut new gameplay footage for Final Fantasy 7 Revelation at Gamescom Opening Night Live, the final installment of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy.

The announcement follows the release of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth in early 2024 and precedes a planned simultaneous launch on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with no timed exclusivity for Sony.

Square Enix has not confirmed a release date, but analysts project the game will launch in the first half of 2027. The company previously optimized Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth for Nintendo Switch, and the three titles share assets and technical foundations, making a Switch 2 version possible though not yet confirmed.

No further details about platform availability or timing have been released, and Square Enix has not indicated a specific launch schedule.
