The staff of the Ace of Diamond Act II Second Season presented a teaser video on Saturday and announced that the second part will premiere in October.

The sequel continues the story of the baseball manga created by Yūji Terajima, which ran from 2006 to 2022 and was adapted into anime series beginning in 2013.

Hideaki Ōba takes over as director, replacing Mitsuyuki Masuhara, while Kenji Konuta returns to oversee scripts. Yasukazu Shōji assumes character design duties, succeeding Minoru Ueda and Satoshi Tasaki. Hajime Hyakkoku continues to compose the music, as he did in previous seasons.

The season will air on TV Tokyo Network and AT‑X beginning in October, and will be available on Netflix in Japan.

Mad Cave Studios' Nakama Press imprint has licensed the manga for English release in 3‑in‑1 omnibus volumes, starting March 23, 2027. The original series and its sequel have been streamed by Crunchyroll in various regions.

The series is expected to continue its run through the winter quarter, with no further release details announced at this time.
