Series creator Toryumon Takeda announced on July 24 that the DOGA manga will conclude with a seventh volume, scheduled for release in winter 2026. The manga, which began serialization on Futabasha's Web Action website in October 2023, follows a high‑ranked noble named Yote who is killed by street robbers and revived by a female inventor who transfers his consciousness into a cyborg body. The story then follows Yote's limited mobility and his quest to become human again, aided by a street orphan named Doga. Futabasha released the sixth compiled volume on July 24. Alias Books will publish Takeda's Badducks manga in English this fall, and Kadokawa previously released his One More Step, Come Stand by My Side collection in April 2022.
