Standard Chartered has revised its year‑end Bitcoin price target to $100,000, saying the forecast may be too low. The bank originally projected $150,000 in a February report before cutting the estimate. Global head of digital asset research Geoff Kendrick noted in a note that the recent rally has been driven by short liquidations and renewed inflows into spot Bitcoin exchange‑traded funds. He added that low open interest could allow more investors to enter as prices rise. Bitcoin traded at $76,844, up 24% in the past week, according to CoinGecko. Other analysts have suggested the bear market may be nearing its end; Swan Bitcoin chief executive Cory Klippsten said a bottom could form in October, and 10x Research founder Markus Thielen said an August close above $63,000 would confirm a bottom. The bank also lowered its Ether target to $4,000 from $7,500. The outlook remains uncertain as market participants assess the impact of regulatory developments and macro‑economic conditions.
