A Democratic poll shows Leela Gray leading Anna Paulina Luna in Florida’s 13th Congressional District, with 51% support to 46% in a head‑to‑head matchup.

The Hart Research Associates survey, commissioned by House Majority PAC, surveyed 500 voters from August 25 to August 27, and has a margin of error of 4.4 percentage points; 48% of respondents were Republicans, 39% Democrats, and 12% independents.

In a three‑way race that also includes Libertarian candidate Tony D’Arrigo, Gray received 44% support compared with Luna’s 43% and D’Arrigo’s 7%; unaffiliated voters favored Gray 56% to 36%, and 24% of Republicans crossed party lines to support Gray, while 9% of self‑identified Donald Trump voters backed Gray.

The poll indicates Luna’s approval rating stands at 43% approval and 57% disapproval, and 49% of district voters would support a generic Democrat while 44% would support a generic Republican.

Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee spokesperson Anna Elsasser said Gray is positioned to serve the community and noted momentum in Pinellas and Pasco counties, while Luna’s campaign cited its own internal Fabrizio, Lee & Associates poll showing Luna at 49% and Gray at 41%, dismissing the Hart poll as typical election‑cycle polling.

Gray’s May Public Policy Polling numbers showed her within the margin of error but trailing Luna 41% to 39%, and Luna’s campaign suggested Gray’s poll results may be influenced by her investments in data‑center companies.

The findings place Democrats in a favorable position for the November election, though the race remains within the poll’s margin of error.
