NASA and SpaceX have set October 13 as the launch date for the 35th commercial resupply services mission to the International Space Station, targeting a 6:33 a.m. EDT liftoff from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The mission will carry more than 6,300 pounds of cargo, including the final set of ISS Roll-Out Solar Arrays, artificial retina manufacturing hardware, 3D heart tissue models, and research materials for studying glass formation and neurodegenerative disease treatments. A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch a Dragon spacecraft that will autonomously dock with the station’s Harmony module around 11 a.m. on October 15. NASA will stream launch and docking coverage across its platforms, with media teleconferences scheduled for October 8 to discuss the mission and post-mission Crew-12 return. Public virtual attendance registration is available through NASA’s virtual guest program, and live updates will be posted on the agency’s International Space Station blog.
