Apple retail locations have scheduled a "big floor reset" for the evening of Thursday, November 5, extending into Friday, November 6, according to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman. The update follows earlier reports that the company plans to introduce new OLED touchscreen MacBook Pro models during a creator-focused event in Los Angeles in late October. Gurman indicated the devices could be unveiled on Friday, November 6, aligning with the store preparations.
The upcoming refresh is expected to include multiple OLED-equipped MacBook Pro variants, alongside an OLED iPad mini, an M6 iMac, and a new 14-inch MacBook Pro powered by the M6 chip. Apple has not confirmed plans for a traditional live-streamed event, though Gurman noted the company will "do something" and release related content. Previous speculation about a "MacBook Ultra" designation has been revised, with current expectations pointing to a continuation within the MacBook Pro lineup.
Apple has a history of scheduling product rollouts in late October and early November, with recent launches including the iPhone Duo on October 23 and the HomePod mini 2 on October 30. Additional releases, such as the HomeView and fourth-generation Apple TV 4K, are anticipated for November 13. The company has also invited select media to an "all-day product launch experience" in Los Angeles on October 28, where new touchscreen MacBook Pro models and updated iPad mini devices are expected to be showcased.
Earlier in October, Apple introduced a new smart home hub, a refreshed Apple TV 4K, and an updated HomePod mini during a product presentation on October 13. The upcoming November 6 launch would mark the latest addition to a series of product introductions later in the month.
