Microsoft has announced a new Xbox Nano controller that will be available this November. The device measures roughly 13 cm in length and weighs about 100 g, making it shorter and lighter than most modern smartphones while still offering all 18 standard inputs. Company officials say the controller is intended for users with smaller hands and for portable play. It features a built‑in rechargeable battery and a programmable Action Button that can be set to perform shortcuts such as recording video clips or capturing screenshots. Connectivity will be provided through Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth, allowing use with supported consoles and PCs. Pre‑orders have opened ahead of the planned launch across several markets, including the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Pricing is set at £44.99, $49.99 or €49.99 depending on the region. In the United States, Microsoft is collaborating with Samsung and Meta on holiday promotions that bundle the controller with two months of Game Pass Ultimate for new subscribers who purchase qualifying Samsung televisions or Meta Quest headsets. A KitGuru commentary noted that, without a direct side‑by‑side comparison, the controller’s dimensions resemble those of a Game Boy Advance Nano from earlier generations.
