Remedy Entertainment confirmed that Control Resonant reached one million units sold three weeks after its September 24 launch. The studio shared the milestone on Blue Sky, stating, “Thank you for the support. For playing, sharing, and being a part of the community.”
The original Control, released in 2019, required more than a year to achieve two million sales before surpassing six million copies by March 2026. Alan Wake 2 required over a month to reach one million units, making Control Resonant the studio’s fastest-selling title during its launch window.
While specific development budget details were not disclosed, the company expressed hope that the game would achieve profitability more quickly than previous releases. KitGuru reported the sales figure and invited readers to comment on whether Control Resonant represents Remedy’s best game to date or if another title holds that distinction.
