Radeon RX 9070 GRE is now listed at $499 on Newegg after a $50 promotional discount. The price is the lowest since the GPU’s launch. The card originally launched at $549 and had been sold at or above its manufacturer suggested retail price since introduction. GPU prices have been elevated, with most models selling 15‑30 % above MSRP because of DRAM shortages. The RX 9070 GRE features 12 GB of VRAM, 4 GB less than the RX 9070, and fewer shaders, resulting in lower performance than the RX 9070 and the RTX 5070. It competes with the RTX 5060 Ti rather than the RTX 5070. The card sold no units on its first day at the German retailer Mindfactory. Newegg requires an email to receive the promo code, after which the discount is applied at checkout. Availability remains limited and pricing may vary as the GPU market stabilises.
