Tom Lee, head of distribution at Fundstrat, said Ethereum will become the central link that unites traditional finance and cryptocurrency as the two markets converge.

His comment follows Bitmine's disclosure that its Ethereum treasury grew to 5.74 million ETH, representing about 4.8% of the total circulating supply of roughly 120.7 million ETH.

The company also reported holding 206 Bitcoin, $527 million in cash and marketable securities, and equity stakes in Beast Industries and Eightco Holdings, with total assets valued at approximately $11.1 billion.

Lee said the distinction between traditional financial markets and digital assets will eventually disappear, with Ethereum positioned at the center of that transition.

He linked Ethereum's outlook to the pending CLARITY Act, which he said could provide clearer regulatory guidance for smart contract platforms as digital assets integrate into payment systems and financial services.

Layer‑2 activity on Ethereum has expanded, with Visa and Shopify already processing USDC transactions through scaling solutions, illustrating practical use beyond speculation.

Lee reiterated his stance while responding to a post by Carrie Presley, head of distribution at Fundstrat, who recalled an earlier conversation in which she expressed optimism about Ethereum and blockchain technology.

Ethereum traded around $1,800, a level that has remained steady over the past 24 hours and risen about 2.2% over the previous seven days.

Regulatory progress on the CLARITY Act remains uncertain, and the extent to which traditional financial institutions will adopt Ethereum-based infrastructure is yet to be determined.
