AMD Medusa Point 10‑core Zen 6 engineering sample achieved Geekbench scores of 3,329 in single‑core and 16,555 in multi‑core at 5.4 GHz, a 5 % increase over its previous single‑core result of 3,174. The sample, identified by CPU ID 100‑000001713‑33_N on the AMD Plum‑MDS1 platform, also showed a 9 % improvement in multi‑core performance compared with its earlier multi‑core score of 15,092. In comparison, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 recorded 2,605 single‑core and 13,396 multi‑core points at 5.1 GHz, while the Ryzen AI 9 365 posted 2,470 single‑core and 12,407 multi‑core points at 5.0 GHz. The benchmark, which is synthetic, provides a rough indication of relative performance and may not reflect real‑world usage. The sample operated at a maximum clock speed of 5,370 MHz, about 300 MHz higher than the fastest Strix Point APUs recorded in the test. Further evaluation on platforms such as PassMark or Cinebench is expected, but the chips are not expected to be widely available before the official announcement, which is scheduled for several months in the future.
