Apple raised the price of its Apple Music Individual plan to $11.99 per month, up from $10.99, effective today in the United States and other countries. The Family plan rose to $19.99 from $16.99, and the Student plan to $6.99 from $5.99. Apple One’s Individual tier remained at $19.95, while the Family tier increased to $27.95 from $25.95 and the Premier tier to $39.95 from $37.95. In a statement to 9to5Mac, Apple said the adjustments reflect rising licensing costs. The changes follow Spotify’s earlier price hikes this year and a social media post in which Apple referenced the competing service; Apple Music continues to be priced lower than Spotify. This is the first increase for Apple Music in nearly four years, after a previous rise in October 2022 that moved the Individual plan from $9.99 to $10.99. Apple also raised prices for Apple TV, Apple Arcade and Apple News+ in October 2023, and Apple TV saw another increase in August 2025, though Apple One bundles remained unchanged at that time.
