Midjourney, an AI startup, announced it has acquired the personalized astrology app Co-Star. The deal closed in spring and no financial terms were disclosed. Co-Star provides daily horoscopes and compatibility assessments, using NASA data and AI. Banu Guler, founder of Co-Star, will remain head of the app and also become Midjourney’s chief design officer. In this role she will help develop new applications, including one dedicated to image generation. Midjourney hosts its AI models on the web and via Discord.
